Foreclosure Prevention

This program is important to stabilizing our communities and keeping families in homes by creating reasonable, affordable, long-term homeownership. We have met with over 1,200 clients with direct mediation and one-on-one counseling since 2007.

Our focus for this service is to provide direct mediation with the homeowner's lender to assess their future ability to sustain reasonable payments that fit their current income. Many homeowners are struggling to maintain regular mortgage payments due to economic or personal conditions. We understand that families are reaching out to their lenders for assistance, but their requests are not being met, or they become confused by the lack of response from their lender. We have a program that includes professional communication with both homeowner and lenders and have been a successful process in dealing with lenders.

We realize the importance of homeowners recieving budget management assistance and additional guidance at stabilizing their personal economy. The expectations that we share with our clients is to insure that they have long-term success with managing their finances and regaining control of their cash-flow.

This service is provided at no-cost to the homeowner and is provided under City, State, and Federal grants.
